Thank you! A mobile version is not planned by the team. So it will not be a thing anytime soon. I am sorry to dissapoint, but as the programmer of the game, I have bo experience in apk versions. Until I'll gain some more knowledge, the game will be available exclusively for PC, additionally with a controller support. Sorry to dissapoint, but I hope that you can enjoy the PC version anyhow!
I just watched Insym playing this on YT and I found the game awesome. Can I help get this localized to Portuguese (Brazil) somehow? Let me know, It'd be awesome.
Hey! Thank you for taking such an interest in our game, so much that you're offering help! But I'm going to decline. I understand the larger scale the game could have with more localization, but the team and I are not ready to work with anyone outside of our friend group. In case anything will change in, I'll notify you. Thank you again for taking such a high interest in our game! <3
i cant wait for the endless mode update! i got all 3 main endings (excluding the 1/4 ending (not spoiling)) and here are a few doll types what should be added to the endless mode:
1. dolls with an abnormally high tempature
2. evil dolls that try to imitate neutrally/morally possessed dolls
3. dolls that function like weeping angels
4. dolls that REQUIRE you to hold them to survive
5. dolls that REQUIRE you to turn off the lights to survive
6. multi doll (2-4 dolls) encounters where each doll involved has their own mechanic
7. dolls that REQUIRE you to be close to them for a specified amount of time to survive
8. dolls that REQUIRE you to avoid doing a specific tests to survive (the specific test will be hinted at by the doll document)
9. dolls that REQUIRE you to avoid a specific room (hinted at by flashing lights) before the timer hits 0
10. dolls that REQUIRE you to find them before the timer expires
11. dolls that swap the delivery systems (meaning that Dangerous goes to Ok and OK goes to Dangerous) (hinted at by the red lights below the signs flashing and sparking)
12. and lastly a rare chance for the dangerous dolls from the story mode to show up again
and some new tests that are exclusive to Endless mode (the new tests have a chance to replace one of the original tests):
1. Electronic test (you have a Radio or some other electronic and you must bring them close to the doll and see if strange activity occurs from the device)
2. Owner mention test (you mention the owner of the doll and see if the doll reacts)
3. Paper test (you place a piece of paper near the doll and leave the room for a bit and see if strange activity occurs from it)
4. PC test (the item locator includes the doll and you must use it to see if strange activity occurs)
5. Details test (after you put the doll on the chair in front of the window you must check everything in the test room and hiding room and then leave the room for a little bit then you must come back in and see if anything changed or strange activity occurs)
these are just suggestions and you don't have to do them if you don't want to.
Thank you for your excitement about our project! And dang, that's a lot! Some of which is certainly going in the ideas file! When brainstorming the endless mode with the team, we did think up a lot of new tests, one of which you even specified (The owner call), but we don't want to have too many tests. We are trying to think of a balanced way, to make some tests unnecessary for some dolls / make them faster / have an option to skip them and some ideas are being formed. As for the doll anomalies, any idea goes! So thank you! You can expect credit for the ideas that do end up in the game.
Here is a rough idea of how the endless mode anomalies will work: They are called events. You will have a screen, where you can see all events in the game, but they will be locked and named "???" if you haven't witness the event. The dolls are random, but they have stats, on which they work off of regarding the events they may trigger. Just like in the story mode, there are both ordinary and possessed dolls, but the possessed ones are not always evil. Sometimes they are even nice, playful or down right heroic. Once you have all the events, the game will continue, but the events will repeat. Some events however do have sub-alternation, so that it's not exactly the same every time. Like visuals, sounds and other side aspects of the event can be altered, to drag out the uniqueness of each run. I can't say much about the endless mode, as I don't want to spoil anything until ready (plus it can always be completely scrapped and reworked).
Until then, thank you for your suggestions! They have not gone unnoticed and I appreciate your time!
and i believe that the imitator dolls and the Multi doll encounters and the Test avoidance dolls (and some of my more unique suggestions) will put a unique spin on the Endless game play loop!
I never made a mobile game, but I can imagine this game being pretty easy to port, given it's not very graphics heavy and it's not that long. But I will personally not make a port. I never tried nor wanted to make mobile games, only pc and console. So unfortunately I won't be making a mobile version, or at least not any time soon. Sorry.
This is by far one of the BEST games I have ever found on itchio. Each doll is unique, has their own story, and creates a whole new atmosphere to the game every time a new doll comes down. I was shocked at how many dolls there were, and the story is even fleshed out. I have only gotten one ending so far but will definitely be going back to get the other endings. My ONLY complaint is that some of the volumes could use some tweaking. If I have the volume up enough to hear everything normally, then the jumpscares and screams absolutely DESTROY my ears. Other than that, its great.
Thank you so much for your positive review! Yes, the volume aspect of the jumpscares and overall loud moments has been mentioned quite frequently, and I will level out the audio in the upcoming update! However, since I am leaving my home for a week, it will be up and ready after that time. But till then, the "Other" volume section includes the jumpscares, so I'd recommend turning that down, until the volume mixing will be ready. Sorry about that, I understand the unpleasent feeling this might have brung.
But again, thank you so much for both the positive review about the game and your amazing video! I have not finished it as of writing this, but I have seen your shorts on Play Things! Keep up the great work!
i reached lily, she is WAY TOO LOUD when she catches me. i have the game on 6% master volume and 4% on my volume mixer and it hurts my eyes when she kills me :|
also, how do i get past her? i saw the text mentioning to beat her with the power out but what about when the power is on? i could swear she just walks from the hiding spot to the chair, i tried three times so far and i couldn't handle the volume after.
You can beat Lily by finding a specific hiding spot, look for a door to a room that you have likely never entered. In the room, there is a fridge, a table, etc. But also a little hiding spot, that you can block off.
The beating her with the power off is not yet a concern. To beat her, you need to first hide in the spot, then when she starts patrolling, you need to make it back to the chair. This part is much easier to play with headphones, as Lily's singing helps you with the direction she's heading in.
I am sorry that the jumpscare hurts your eyes. The disclamer states that the game has flashing lights, although most jumpscares do not use flashing lights, but rather zooms and camera shake. I am assuming that you ment to say that it hurts your EARS, which I can totally understand. If your master volume is at 6%, try to also lower the "Other" volume category. This includes the jumpscare sounds.
TL;DR, find a hiding spot that is in the kitchen room, wait for Lily to leave your hiding place, catch the right time and sprint back to the chair!
it was a brainfart LMAO i meant its loud and hurt my ears****
it'll take me a few more attempts to get to the chair on the right time, i have failed miserably three times and once i muster up enough courage to play again i'll try it.
i've been in that hiding spot but i was always leaving at the wrong time i think, she kept catching me
love the gameplay itself with the checking through stuff similarly to papers please ngl it's so fun!
i'll put the other volume category down to 0. it was at 13% so i'll try it at 1% then try 0
btw is she supposed to be able to kill me through the hiding spot door? i opened it to peek and she barely showed up at the door and i closed it on time. well i thought i did but then she shifted through the fully closed door and gave me a heart attack XD
The project is still thriving, and I am SO happy to see that! You are all such a great community here on itch and outside of it too. There have been so many amazing things people have said about this game of ours, and it warms my heart every dang time! There has been very little negative feedback, and most of that is covered with incredibly valid criticism! Recently, we have climbed back up in the popular horror game page, so the game gets a lot more recognition. That is all thanks to you amazing people giving our project a chance, leaving comments and ratings... it has been amazing. The big Play Things update is being worked on and a bunch of new projects are in the works, too! Some of which are much bigger than Play Things, and are even on the verge of completion! I will not however say any specific time for realease, as I want to be precise, and making deadlines is usually not a guarantee. (Especially for a student with a part-time job :P)
It's a dream come true to see so many people download and play our games, and I'll do my very best to continue giving out the content that you people deserve! You are all very lovely, and I wish you all a great life and success! See ya soon!
When endless mode is added, can there be a note pad item we can write on that we can send a doll away with? I love/hate some of the dolls a lot and really wish i could send at least some sort of farewell message
Interesting idea! I see your POV, but if something like this was added (from what I understand, you want a way to write a personal custom note, that will be sent alongside the doll, to be read by the doll or its owner), it would be incredibly difficult to make the notes actually matter in gameplay AND the story. The mode is already planned to have a randomize function, giving different dolls for everyone, which is pretty tough on its own (keeping the same level of entertainment, creepiness, but also uniqueness). If the note would have any output (as in it wouldn't be just a vanity item), I am not sure what it would do. It's easy to implement, but it's hard to figure out the practical uses. I think adding this would only come to use for a small amount of players, and for most, it would be seen as a very "random" idea, since it won't actually do anything other than fill specific players' satisfaction.
What I will say, a lot of people were very into the doll "characters" that we made, which is sweet! People were surprisingly attached to dolls like Tina and Abby. I believe your reason for this idea might come from similar tastes. You are unsatisfied with the "Sending away / Destroying" part, as it didn't really change anything. This will be quite different in the endless mode, but I will not spoil how, and I hope that it will be satisfying enough for people who have become attached to the dolls. Which again, is really nice to see, as the writer of the project <3.
TLDR, it's a neat idea, but I am not sure just how practical it would be for a lot of the player base, unless the team and I find some functions this may do.
Honestly I don't even expect for a "Goodbye message" of some sort to have any practical uses other than knowing or hoping you did something right and wishing them farewells.
But I love you guys for even considering it, please keep up the good work and take care of yourselves.
My name is Chemseddine, founder of Renkon Origin, a fully remote studio specializing in French translation and dubbing of games.
I really like Play Things and the atmosphere you’ve created. If you are considering a French version, I would be happy to assist you with both translation and dubbing.
Wow! Very impressive stuff! You're work surely shows a lot of quality, even in the short trailer!
However, regarding the french localization for Play Things, I am not yet really keen on working with people I don't personally know, partly because of shyness and partly because I am too poor to pay a deserved salary for such work. I'm sorry to say that I will decline your generous offer, but I am honored that you liked our project so much, you offered your assistence with the localization! That is quite insane to me tbh (as in, I was not expecting to get this type of a review in a very good way!)
Thank you for your wishes, simultaneously, I wish you and your studio the best of luck and success! Even though I don't speak french and I am not a professional actor, from what you have presented, you have a lot of talent! Thank you again, and I hope you have a wonderful rest of time!
Thank you very much for your positive feedback. It’s always encouraging to know that our work generates interest, even through a simple trailer.
I fully understand and respect your decision. For my part, my offer to help with localization did not include any request for payment; it was simply motivated by a sincere desire to contribute to this little game.
I wish you much success moving forward and would be happy to connect with you in the future if the opportunity arises.
The game was made in Unreal Engine 5, which allows for Mac Support, but I never released it for other platforms other than Windows. I have no experience with other operating systems, so unfortunately I can't really provide help. I'd suggest watching guides on how to play Unreal Engine Windows games on mac, if there are any! Sorry that I cannot do anything else. We might release the game for more platforms with the upcoming update
You're not alone there, but we might as well just listen to mr Ch. A., who sends us away with a "We will see eachother again soon". Nah but really, the ending answers are lot of questions but it simultaneously opens new ones. This is intended, as the story of Play Things is not finished and the lore of Burning Eye is especially not finished, not even close. There are tons of other titles, some significantly longer then Play Things, that are coming in the future. Sadly no specific time at this point, it's a lot of work. But I love it and I love people like you and the others leaving feedback, even if it is expressing confusion in the plot!
I had the doll disappear after putting it in the place and decided I've had enough for the day. The game is good. It's good that it's scary. I'll finish the game later in a voice call.
This game is amazing! I've gotten so much footage that there was no way for me to put it all in just one video. Expect more coming very soon! And I hope to see more games from you as well!
Of course! As I finish editing the videos I'll be sure to reply to this thread with the other parts rather than leave a new comment each time as to not clog up the comment section so other's may add theirs easier :)
I finally have all 3 parts of the game out (Besides endings 1 and 4, I'll need to go back and finish it on my own time soon!) But regardless I adored playing this game and cannot wait for either the endless mode or for a new game of yours to come out! Bravo!
Yeah, this happens to all indie non-steam games made in Unity and Unreal Engine, Windows does not like executables for a good reason. If a pop up shows, it should allow you to click "More Info" and "Run Anyway".
If you click more info, it will reveal a button that will let you run the game, this message should also only pop once. I am sorry for this, it's a problem all of us indie devs have, but I totally understand why
I really liked their video! Even if they skipped reading the docs, they seem like a very thoughful person, which is nice to see! I am sorry for your upcoming inevitable nightmares >:P :D But thank you so much for your sweet compliment, it means a lot <3
I didn't test with all of the scenarios, but here's a few technical stuff I noticed:
Do not read if you don't want some slight spoilers.
By using Susie Soccer™, it is possible to softlock yourself by lodging her into the wall, or using her to push yourself out of bounds. You can still exit to menu to reset of course.
The bathtub and toilet have a rather blocky hitbox, allowing Susie to chill mid-air as the magician she is.
In Kate's scenario, the window still has collision after being broken.
When using the audio test, you can stand in front of the shelf before it flings. It will not collide with you. However, if you push the camera (after using it) into the shelf's line of fire, it will be launched. It will not respawn if launched out of bounds.
The shelf falling over animation is repeatable if you play the audio test again. Unlike the shelf, broken window animation does not repeat.
During the audio test, the light closest to the shelf will flicker regardless of whether the light switch is on. The light bulb itself will not flicker.
The initial position of the shelf still has collision even if the shelf has already fallen over. However, you can stand at the shelf's ending position if you reset the animation. This may result in a softlock, as you have now done the fusion dance with the shelf.
The head bobbing mechanic doesn't make the most sense when playing the car crash cutscene. You can still see the head bob when Sophia face plants into the ground, despite the cutscene is displayed from a spectator's(?) point of view.
Thank you so much for such a detailed report! Pretty much all of your bug reports have been fixed in the past hour, except for some I deemed way too unnecessary to fix, but about 90% has been done, you'll get credited in the patch notes as a show of graditute! (Unless you specificaly do not want your name mentioned)!
Thank you again for your time and effort of mentioning these mistakes though, must have taken quite some time to write, although, one that I am not a 100% of what you ment is the Photograph not respawning after it gets hit by the shelf. I looked into the code, and nothing indicates this happening, nor did I ever witness it happen, so that is one of the two that I skipped. The other one is the doll getting stuck outside walls, as it is a pretty difficult process to work with physics, but also, it is quite rare for this to happen, as you'd need to specifically INTENTIONALY put objects through walls to make them vanish, and even then, you can simply reload the game, OR use the PC to reset item locations!
ahaha... I'm going to get nightmares. I normally don't like scary games, but I saw DieDevDie play this and it looked really interesting. When Susie appeared I tried turning on the power (while still holding her lol). It would've been kinda funny if I was able to throw her into the trash can in the break room.
I loved DieDevDie's video! It was very thoughful of him to not read the descriptions, in order to not trigger his viewers, even if a big fundamental feature of the game was lost then, it's still really sweet!
Yeah, Susie is quite the rascal :3, sorry for the nightmares! I wish you a good sleep anyhow :D. Throwing her out is certainly something any SANE person would do :P
The invitation ending gives you the instructions to get the 3rd ending, it tells you to turn off the power while playing Hide n' Seek with Lily. You trigger the new content by touching the chair (beating Lily in HnS) WHILE the power is out. This can be done in a already finished game, by "Repearing" Lily. The Repear button is there not only to fix errors in the assignments, but also as a replay function. It mostly serves the purpouse of not having to replay the entire game to get different endings, as that would get way too repetitive. You don't need to get the first 2 endings to get the 3rd and 4th, it just tells you HOW to get them.
1st Ending - Finish the game regularly, make at least one mistake
2nd Ending - Finish the game regularly, have no mistakes
3rd Ending - Beat Lily HnS while the power is out, interact with the Craftsman
4th Ending - Beat Lily HnS while the power is out, let go of Susie (won't spoil how, but it is pretty simple), interact with the Craftsman
We are working on the upcoming update, alongside another game, that has been in the works for 3 years! But when the update releases, there is a big chance that we will be satisfied enough to put it on steam. Thank you for patience and suggestion! <3
Yup! You got it! But thank you anyway for reporting something, that would be a pretty big deal, if not for the "F to edit" function. And thank you for calling this project a good game! <3
can I also suggest one more thing, its really annoying to go all the way back to the other table to get the paper to mark the boxes, cant paper just spawn next to the computer so that player wont need to run around the room for a paper? I mean its not a big deal its already great with that but its just a little annoying for me, its my idea Idk what others think to be honest
It's certainly a valid point, given that you would take the doll with you, and you cannot carry around the paper WITH the doll. I may look into this, but it will not spawn anywhere away from the "ringing" table. Instead I might make the testing sheet be always present in the player, and not making an item you have to grab. But Imma have to think more about that decision, as it could mess up something else! But thank you for the suggestion!
Ha! Yeah, that part I had to warn some streamers about, as they tend to have their real name as their computer name, with their fans not knowing their real name, thankfuly this was never that damaging, as far as I know at least. But yeah, it's a pretty common factor, but Mr. Ch. A. is certainly a somebody that we can expect to see return
There may be some issues with the webpage, the download process should be really simple. You hit the "Download now" button, then to get the game for free, you hit "No thanks, just take me to the downloads", there you hit "Download" next to the newest version. The game has no setup, as soon as it downloads, you can extract the .zip file and open the executable.
If you still have trouble, maybe try to download the game at some other time, OR maybe try another browser, I'm not sure what your issue might really be, as the downloading process is really outside my reach
thank you so much for your help. i really appreciate it and idk to cause its the first time happening to me but thank you for your help with all my hearts 💖💖💖
How do I obtain the first ending? I've gotten all 3 endings save for the first and I don't know if that would involve me incorrectly assessing all the dolls.
In order to get the 1st ending, you need to make at least one mistake! You can re-do a doll and mess it up on purpose. Then just continue, like usual, and the bad ending will happen!
Thank you for taking such an interest, that you managed to get all the other endings though!
Oh, sure! I'd be happy to give some game development tips!
#1 - Know what you want to do.
Plan ahead with what type of game you want to make. Ideally, write it down. Brainstorm ideas of mechanics and the story (Depending on the genre). The same goes for the engine, I work in Unreal Engine 5, and I'd say it is a great point for both beginners and advanced devs. Lots of good tutorials, if you are just starting out, no knowledge needed for programming languages and it is free. However, if you are a complete beginner, an easier start would perhaps be RPG Maker, or Game Maker studio, for mostly non-3D projects.
#2 - Know the limit of your ambitions
Your first projects will not be your best and that is totally fine! You need those first steps to start reaching the tops! A lot of devs do not finish their projects, as they get way to ambitious, and start piling ideas to make their game huge, but don't really know how to execute them. This will make the project suffer, mostly with the quantity over quality department, if the dev does not simply give up because they aren't able to reach their big expectations. I get it, you want your game to be good next to other games, people don't really care if you are indie or beginner, etc. They will judge you by the sheer quality. (Also don't mind hate. If someone just blindly says your work sucks, without pointing out anything, it's blind hate. No need to waste your time with those). Your first game should be no longer then 30 minutes, or even 15. Just a short project, depending on the genre you like, with a simple premise and mechanics.
#3 - Solo / Team
Game development isn't just programming. There are a bunch of aspects to it, like graphics, sound, music, story, testing, (Maybe voice acting), etc. If you have 0 knowledge and interest in some pretty important aspect, try to build a team. Ask friends or reach out in discord servers. Of course going solo is a possibility, but you'll need more skills than just programming. Some other software I always personally use for game development are: Audacity for sound design, Photoshop for textures, Blender for models and animations, FL Studio for music, Google Docs for writing, Miro for planning, mind maps and lore.
#4 - If you tend to procrastinate One thing I do to avoid procrastinating, is splitting parts of development. There ARE aspects that I like to do more than others (e.g. I love writing but I find modeling boring). So, when I feel like I have a lot of energy for the day, I do stuff I dislike more, then, all I have left are things that I love to the, which is enough to boost me into working
#5 - Don't give up and Don't make too much stuff
Don't give up is obvious, but still pretty overlooked. The second part is me trying to BEG YOU to not make more than 2 projects (Ideally just 1) at a time. Starting a new game is usually more fun than finishing one, especially when you aquire skills while working on the previous one, but if you never finish and just keep starting new ones / restarting the current one, becajse it can now be better, you won't get anywhere with this loop. Try your best to avoid it. And of course, don't give up. Try, do, repeat, you'll build an audience, steam and itch (and a lot of others) will help you. You got this!
Thank you! I do have a lot of work outside of development, and I want to make sure that the update (and new titles). Support like this really helps me with motivation, thank you!
I really liked the game can't wait for the endless mode, i did encounter a bug in the video but that did not stop me from enjoying the game really love reading the story
I just finished this game. I've been heavily playing doll games lately and this one was AMAZING. I love that all of the dolls had stories and some of them even made me tear up and I loved the mechanics and how they were different from the other doll games I have played.
My only criticism is that the game is really dark and I had a hard time navigating, so a gamma slider would be nice to be able to adjust the brightness. There were points the game was so dark I needed to use multiple items and I was unable to see and it got really frustrating after awhile.
Other then that the game was amazing, I plan to go back later and get all the endings.
Thank you so much for the positive review! The game does tend to get darker on low and medium lighting settings, as light bouncing gets disabled, but I understand that some people want higher performance! A gamma slider is actually a neat idea, I can definitely add that! It will be included in the new update, which will hopefully come out in about a month, depending on how much time off work I’ll have. Thank you for the suggestion!
Hey love the game however I wanted to know if I can get Bella's stuff correctly when I turn out the lights I only get the bad ending, or do I just have to skip it and not do it correctly?
Heya! You should NOT turn off the power for Bella, but rather just the light in the testing room, say her name, and she should react! Thank you for your positive outlook on the game <3
Bella spoiler
If you still cannot get past her, just check the name call test with a red checkmark (and temperature).
Omg you're so right I did have the power off only in the testing room but I misclicked resist and didn't know, great design user error and a fantastic game!
I am sorry that the endings have not satisfied ya, I can say that the true ending is a huge head scratcher for a lot of people, rightfully so. But thank you still for labeling the game as "Good"!
We are thinking of transferring the game on steam (while keeping it updated on itch.io, as it will stay free to play, even on steam), and that comes along with the endless mode update, wich I plan on making sooner than I thought. Once the update will come out, I will very likely release the game on steam. Thank you for the recommendation!
holy fucking shit this is by far the greatest itch.io horror game that ive ever played in my entire life (i might be overexaggerating but its true). the inspections were fun to do and man the hide and seek doll and that last doll were absolutely horrifying they got my heart beating like crazy.
the lore is especially insane in this game which i didnt expect at all and right now i got the 2nd ending and ill definitely try my best to get the rest of the endings soon.
10/10 i really need to see the big youtubers like markiplier, jacksepticeye, manlybadasshero, etc to play this so bad
Wow, those are some seriously inspiring words, I am beyond happy that you found our game so entertaining, and I promise that I'll keep the entertainment of our titles going up and up. I am really glad that you enjoyed the lore, it is certainly my personal favourite branch of game development! Although Play Things won't have a direct sequel, the story has some obvious loose ends that will soon be answered (While simultaneously more loose ends will be created :P)
Thank you once again for such a positive review of our title, it really does bring me joy and the inspiration to keep creating! ❤️

Opravdu hodně dobrá hra ale dost mě zajímá co je to za engine prosím ?
Moc ti děkuji! Engine je Unreal Engine 5.5. Na modely blender, textury photoshop, audacity sound design, fl studio hudba, google docs script!

All good, I completely understand. If anything changes, just reach out to me. Wish you all success with your games!
Awesome game! I can't believe how much work you guys put into the backstories and making the dolls each have their own personalities!
Thank you! And thank you for the video. I appreciate your liking towards our little stories. It means a lot <3

I wish this would be on mobile too :(
I never made a mobile game, but I can imagine this game being pretty easy to port, given it's not very graphics heavy and it's not that long.
We have reached 10k Downloads!
Thank you all so much!
Hello,
My name is Chemseddine, founder of Renkon Origin, a fully remote studio specializing in French translation and dubbing of games.
I really like Play Things and the atmosphere you’ve created. If you are considering a French version, I would be happy to assist you with both translation and dubbing.
Here is an example of our recent work:
Feel free to contact me if you’re interested.
Best wishes for your next project!
Chemseddine
I've seen people with Macs play this game, but I haven't figured out how they made it work :-( Any help would be appreciated!
I love this game! It's just perfect! Hope to see more content, keep up dev!
Thank you so much! I will certainly try my best to keep players intrigued in our titles! It's very nice to hear these words, so thank you again <3
I still don't get the 4th ending..
Some dolls do like to play the vanish card :3, Thank you for the positive review! I hope you'll enjoy the rest of your playthrough
just wait until you meet the other dolls :')
This game is amazing! I've gotten so much footage that there was no way for me to put it all in just one video. Expect more coming very soon! And I hope to see more games from you as well!
Thank you so much! Imma be sure to check it out, and thank you for the nice comments <3
Of course! As I finish editing the videos I'll be sure to reply to this thread with the other parts rather than leave a new comment each time as to not clog up the comment section so other's may add theirs easier :)
Very thoughtful! I'll be happy to read your upcoming reviews! ^˘^
New video is up!
I finally have all 3 parts of the game out (Besides endings 1 and 4, I'll need to go back and finish it on my own time soon!) But regardless I adored playing this game and cannot wait for either the endless mode or for a new game of yours to come out! Bravo!
Hey I want to play the game but when I want to launch it my PC prevents it and flags it as a dangerous file.
The moment I saw DieDevDie's video on my Youtube recommendations I just knew I had to play it myself before watching him play.
Regrettably, I will most likely have nightmares for the rest of the week, but that aside, this is an absolute banger of a game, really well made
I really liked their video!
I sleep with a stuffed dog; hopefully he doesn't try to kill me o_o||
Do I have to start a new game to meet the craftsman?
Nope, just load the game and use the retry button. That is in the report section. So pc, Lily, retry.
I did that after ending no 2, which I tried doing that route but didnt get invited.
Hope this helps you out!
I hope you guys can put your games to steam.
I'll wait happly for new games!
We are working on the upcoming update, alongside another game, that has been in the works for 3 years! But when the update releases, there is a big chance that we will be satisfied enough to put it on steam. Thank you for patience and suggestion! <3
10/10 game, very fun, amazing story, you cooked with this one. I look forward to more of Play Things and other games of yours. Much love Burning Eye :3
Thank you, that's a really sweet message for me and the team! It really helps to keep me motivated <3
nvm its more readable when I press F to edit the paper my bad, good game! thanks
Yup!
But thank you for the suggestion!
you are a great dev for listening people! I wish you bests in your future! I'll definitely buy the game when it comes to steam
forgot what my laptop's name is so when the game said it I was thrown way off guard from being deadnamed LMAOOOO
Ha! Yeah, that part I had to warn some streamers about, as they tend to have their real name as their computer name, with their fans not knowing their real name, thankfuly this was never that damaging, as far as I know at least. But yeah, it's a pretty common factor, but Mr. Ch. A. is certainly a somebody that we can expect to see return
it doesn't want to download think its some glitch or smt can anyone help me with this problem pls
You are very welcome! <3 I wish you a great day! ^˘^
10/10 Enjoyed all the game
Thank you so much! <3 I am really glad that you enjoyed the game this much, it means a lot!!
do you have any game maker tips?
#4 - If you tend to procrastinate
One thing I do to avoid procrastinating, is splitting parts of development.
Hope this helps! Thank you for the comment!
i really like this game saw my fav youtuber play it cant wait for the next update!!
Thank you! I do have a lot of work outside of development, and I want to make sure that the update (and new titles). Support like this really helps me with motivation, thank you!
Thank you for playing!! I will check it out to see what the bug is, thank you for reporting it! And again, thank you for the kind words <3
really love the game can't wait for the endless mode
I came 50 times then I launched the game. Unreal.
Thanks David :D I appreciate it
I just finished this game.
This was fun, different and very well made!
You created another masterpiece! Thank you for developing this game!
These Dolls Are Making A Killing! Play Things Full Gameplay
Thank you so much! And thank you for the video! <3
I'm Done With Dolls.... Play Things
This game was great! I loved every bit of it and the jumpscares at the end got me good😂😂Keep up the great work👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Thank you so much! Loved the vid! <3
Thanks!
good game with absolutely garbage endings
I am sorry that the endings have not satisfied ya, I can say that the true ending is a huge head scratcher for a lot of people, rightfully so. But thank you still for labeling the game as "Good"!
this game should be on Steam
